4. Retention of Personal Data

Personal data will be kept for the time necessary to fulfil the purposes stated above. In addition, data may be retained for the mandatory statutory limitation periods applicable to our legal obligations and for the exercise or defence of any legal claims.

Your personal data may be shared with public bodies, courts and tribunals, or law enforcement when required by law. Additionally, Metly works with service providers acting as data processors — including Google Cloud Platform (GCP), which provides hosting infrastructure for the Metly platform on servers located within the European Union. All such providers access personal data only to the extent necessary to deliver the contracted service and under a signed Data Processing Agreement.

Metly does not sell or share your personal data with third parties for their own commercial purposes.

6. International Transfers

Metly's platform is hosted on Google Cloud Platform infrastructure located within the European Economic Area (EEA). We do not currently transfer personal data outside the EEA. Should any future provider require a transfer outside the EEA, Metly will ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place — such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission — before any such transfer takes place.

7. Rights of the Data Subject

Right of Access. You have the right to obtain confirmation of whether Metly is processing your personal data and, if so, to access that data and receive information about the purposes for which it is processed.
